This is a combination of 2 separate images--I digitally painted the background using an old Webshots image as my reference, and I did a pencil sketch of Andorus. Initially, after painting the Andy sketch, I superimposed it on top of the original image, but a friend suggested that I repaint the background to make the image mesh more. The background's pretty close to being finished, but I haven't gotten to retouch it in a year, so I'm calling it done. This is the first time I've ever completely painted a background, and the first time I've done superimposing like this.
