This is the current layout of my domain's main page, and one of the longest-running layouts (not counting minor variations) that I've ever kept. I've been fascinated by volcanoes for many years now, and this volcano, Mount St. Helens, was what jumpstarted my fascination. I found this beautiful image (with Spirit Lake, prior to the volcano's explosive May 18, 1980 eruption, the biggest in America in recorded history) via WebShots and had to use it.

Initially, this layout was one long horizontal column starting at the top of the page, but I modified it so it's now made up of two central content frames.
